No audio on a radio app make this just a tad worthless. Zero stars.

Cant get it to play at all. Whats the point?!

It worked for about 5 minutes of commercials then stopped. What a piece of crap!

There are more Internet ads to wade through than content, unlike any other radio app. And, that doesnt include the ads you have to hear while the station is live. Utterly ridiculous and unlistenable.

This app used to have small crashing issues every now and then. Especially when transitioning from the advertisement to the audio stream on initial startup. Now it freezes/crashes every few minutes. Every time I start the app I usually have to wait for one ad then swipe it closed then watch another ad and then the stream will start. I used to listen to this app for about 6 hours a day. Ive been forced to seek other sports talk shows in the past few weeks.

Update 6-7-16: The stream is more reliable now, it tends to stay on when the screen is locked. But not always. Also there seems to be fewer video ads. Much improvement. Update 5-8-16: I am unable to listen to KNBR with my iPhone when the screen is locked. (Pardon me: it crashes when its unlocked too) The station will only stream content if my screen is on, which is not do-able over the long term. If I leave my phone on for more than an hour or two I get ghosting images on my screen. Every other streaming app I have, podcast, radio station, whatever, they all work with my screen locked. Why is it that KNBR is unable to achieve this amazing feat? Even through their web site its the same thing. Come on guys, get it together! Updated 4-5-16: Seems like KNBR read these reviews! The last few days, it only stopped once, and the app starts up without more than an occasional video ad which goes straight through to regular programming. I left it on all night and it was still going! Happy again. Yessss.... Previous review: Video ads, crashes, more video ads. Sometimes you just wanna listen to the radio, you know? I dont have time to wait for an ad to play out so I can press the tiny X, only to have it crash again, and I have to go through the whole process one more time. If I was a regular KNBR advertiser I might not be very happy with the fact that people cant hear the ads that I paid for.

Used to be a reliable app, now doesnt play or crashes way too often. Had to resort to a different app for my KNBR fix. iHeart has NO issues with live stream

Youd think KNBR would be able to produce a functional app after all these years but nope...just non-stop ads 24/7

Did they not test this app before making it available? It is crap, doesnt work, and no audio. About the only thing that works are the advertisement.

All I want to do is listen to the live KNBR feed. I dont mind the occasional commercial but because of the repeated crashes and restarts forcing MORE commercials on me, it is totally worthless. Wish there was a way to give it 0 stars.

The app just decides to close on its own whenever it feels like it. Sometimes it plays for five seconds, sometimes five minutes. If that was the only problem, then Id give it two stars. Unfortunately, every time you reopen the app after it crashes, you get to sit through another annoying commercial. Cmon Iheartradio, you dont make enough money with your watered down crap products that you cant make a functioning app!!??

You think someone wouldve tested out the app prior to launching it. I was just looking to find something to listen to my Giants games while at work. You think itd be a simple thing to do but come on, really??? Half non-functional, non-responsive, ads on top of ads. Almost useless.

Pointless!!! Dont even bother. You dont hear anything at all. If you click on one thing it will have you going in circles... HORRIBLE!!!

Horrible app ever!

Used to work great before the update. Now I cant listen for more than 2 minutes before the app crashes.

Horrible update. Crashes every couple of minutes. Unlistenable. Please fix soon.

Updated on 2/18/16: The app is working pretty smoothly with the latest update. Thanks for the 15-second rewind and fast-forward buttons. Its somewhat funny because, shortly before the update, I had discovered that the rewind button in the previous version worked as a 30-second rewind. Oops, but anyway, no problem. One beef I have now is that the controls are graphically so ugly and primitive looking. Theyre also quite tiny, especially on my old IPod touch, which I use for most of my radio listening. Also, I still wish the podcasts were simply arranged in chronological order, without all the folders. Updated on 1/7/16: This app is actually working pretty smoothly now. The podcast crashing problem is gone, thank goodness. These days Im mainly using it to listen to the podcasts after I download them. Im still having problems finding the podcasts, however. Sometimes the Kuiper or Krukow podcasts will end up in the Baseball News folder and sometimes they dont. Theres little consistency. I just had to go looking in the Featured Audio folder to find the Kuiper podcast. Annoying. Again, just arrange them in a list in the order they are recorded. Keep it simple! As far as listening goes, a separate button to rewind the audio 15 seconds (common in other apps) would be a great help. It would also be nice if the podcasts would start playing immediately when selected rather than needing the additional step of hitting the play button. Old review: Well, they brag about being able to listen to the stations podcasts on the app, but it doesnt do us much good if they arent actually uploaded to the app. The last few days Ive been looking in the app for Giants-related podcasts, but they just arent there. Lo and behold, if I go to the KNBR website they are right there on the front page. Somebody is dropping the ball. Actually, it would be good if the whole folders thing in the podcast area was eliminated. Much too complicated. Just have the podcasts in a scrollable list with the most recent at the top. That a babe! Oh, and I have the same problem that someone else mentioned about the app crashing when I delete a podcast.

Dont update to this version. Program crashes after about one minute. The 30 second commercials before connecting work perfect however. Completely unusable.

Like others say, unstable, but the ads work.
